How does privacy work?
We have adopted a follower model that means if you’re “public” on Brabble, anyone can subscribe to follow your photos. We do, however, have a special private option. In this mode, a user can make sure he/she must approve all follow requests before they go through.

Who can see my posts?
All photos are public by default which means they are visible to anyone using Brabble. If you choose to make your account private, then only people who follow you will be able to see your posts.

How can I save my photos and videos to my mobile device?
We save all the photos and videos you process with Brabble to your camera roll.

Managing Your Account

Privacy Settings & Information

Who can see and interact with my posts?
If your posts are public, anyone can see and interact with them. If you want to block specific people from seeing and/or interacting with your posts, you can block them.

If your posts are private, only the people you’ve approved as Followers, or Friends, will be able to see.

What happens if I share my post to another social network?
If someone with a private profile shares a post to a social network (Facebook and/or Twitter) using Brabble, the post will be visible to anyone you have allowed access to you on that network.

Keep in mind that sharing a post to a social network doesn’t mean that post will be visible in Brabble. Your account will still appear private to those you have yet to approve.

What happens if I accidentally approved a follower? How do I get them to unfollow?
You can block someone to get them to stop following you. People aren’t notified when you block them.

How do hashtags work for private photos?
If your account is set to private and you add a hashtag to your post, the post won’t appear publicly on the corresponding hashtag page. Only your approved followers will be able to see your posts on hashtag pages or in Private Brabble messages.

Community Guidelines

The Short:

We want Brabble to continue to be an authentic and safe place for inspiration and expression. Help us foster this community. Respect everyone on Brabble, don’t spam people and do not post inappropriate content to the public world feed.

The Long:

Brabble is a reflection of our diverse community of cultures, ages, and beliefs. We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the different points of view that create a safe and open environment for everyone.

We created these Community Guidelines so you can help us foster and protect this amazing community. By using Brabble, you agree to these guidelines and our Terms & Conditions. We’re committed to these guidelines and we hope you are too. Overstepping these boundaries may result in deleted content, disabled accounts, or other restrictions.

Post photos and videos that are appropriate for a diverse audience:
We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity to be publicly posted on Brabble. This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples, but photos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding are allowed. Nudity in paintings and sculptures are OK, too.

Foster meaningful and genuine interactions:
Help us stay spam-free by not artificially collecting likes, loves, followers, posting repetitive comments or content, or repeatedly contacting people for commercial purposes without their consent.

Respect other members of the Brabble community:
We want to foster a positive, diverse community. We remove content that contains credible threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone, and repeated unwanted messages. We do generally allow stronger conversation around people who are featured in the news or have a large public audience due to their profession or chosen activities.

It’s never OK to encourage violence or attack anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases. When hate speech is being shared to challenge it or to raise awareness, we may allow it. In those instances, we ask that you express your intent clearly.

Serious threats of harm to public and personal safety aren’t allowed. This includes specific threats of physical harm as well as threats of theft, vandalism, and other financial harm. We carefully review reports of threats and consider many things when determining whether a threat is credible.

Be thoughtful when posting newsworthy events:
We understand that many people use Brabble to share important and newsworthy events. Some of these issues can involve graphic content. Because so many different people and age groups use Brabble, we may remove public posts of intense, graphic violence to make sure Brabble stays appropriate for everyone.

We understand that people often share this kind of content to condemn, raise awareness or educate. If you do share content for these reasons, we encourage you to caption your post with a warning about graphic violence. Sharing graphic imagery publicly for sadistic pleasure or to glorify violence is never allowed.

Help us keep the community strong:
Each of us is an important part of the Brabble community. If you see something that you think may violate our guidelines, please help us by using our reporting option. We have a team that reviews these reports and works as quickly as possible to remove content that doesn’t meet our guidelines. Even if you or someone you know doesn’t have a Brabble account, you can still contact us. When you complete the report, try to provide as much information as possible, such as links, usernames, and descriptions of the content, so we can find and review it quickly. We may remove entire posts if either the imagery or associated captions violate our guidelines.

You may find content you don’t like, but doesn’t violate the Community Guidelines. If that happens, you can unfollow or block the person who posted it. If there’s something you don’t like in a comment on one of your posts, you can delete that comment.

Many disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between members of the community. If one of your post was posted by someone else, you could try commenting on the post and asking the person to take it down. If that doesn’t work, you can contact us. Don’t target the person who posted it by posting screenshots and drawing attention to the situation because that may be classified as harassment.

Thank you for helping us create one of the best communities in the world,
The Brabble Team

Privacy Information

Exposed Private Information

Posting private and confidential information is a violation of our Terms & Conditions. Private and confidential information includes, but isn’t limited to: credit card information, social security or alternate national identity numbers, private address or location information, non-public phone numbers and non-public email addresses.

It’s important to note that though you may believe certain information is private, not all content of this type is in violation of our terms.

Reporting private information posted on Brabble:
If someone has posted your private information on Brabble, we’d suggest communicating directly with that person to ask that they take it down. Alternatively, if someone requests that you remove their private information, we ask that you respect their privacy and remove the content before your account is reported to Brabble.

Reporting photos and videos that violate your privacy rights:
If you believe a photo or video violates your privacy rights, you can report it to us. We’ll remove posts that you report as unauthorized if this is required by relevant privacy laws in your country, as long as the reported content involves you, your child (under 13) or another person for whom you’re the legal representative or guardian. Photos or videos involving anyone else will need to be reported by the individual themselves.

It’s important to note that we can’t take down private information that’s posted publicly somewhere other than Instagram. Additionally, we can only take action on private information if it’s associated with the person reporting it or we receive documentation that the reporter is authorized to act on behalf of the person whose private information has been posted.

Protecting your private information:
We strongly suggest you take caution when giving out your information online, especially your credit card number, private address, location or telephone number. People aren’t always who they claim to be in their biography, and you should be cautious of anyone who asks for your personal information, private contact information or password.
